Torrevieja Hospital

A while back I was unlucky enough to get by bitten by a doberman.

The dog was tied to some railings, outside a cafe next to a small shopping centre.

I didn't do anything to provoke it. It just lunged at me and bit me as I walked by. I was quick enough to jump backwards, but its teeth did go through by T-shirt and graze my stomach, drawing a small amount of blood.

The owner had left it in the heat of the day, an I guess it was just pissed off with being tied up.

A few people at a nearby cafe saw what happened and asked if I was okay. I was fine, in shock but okay.

I carried on walking toward where I had parked my car a few 100 metres down the road. I go into the car and then after a few minutes of composure thought, "hmmm...that was lucky. That dog could have taken the face off of a child".

I drove back up to the cafe and noticed the dog was no longer there. I went in and asked the staff if they new the owner of the dog. Evidently from the reaction of one of the staff, they new him, but they didn't want to tell me who he was or where he lived.

Torrevieja Hospital is excellent. If you plan on having an accident or falling ill. I highly recommend it!
